Lisa Gay has enjoyed many successes in the music industry. Along with venues such as The Knitting Factory Hollywood, Conga Room, Henry Ford Theater, performances with their eclectic "gumbo mix" of musicality has brought several CD releases including the classic Jazz release "Watch What Happens" that features Legendary Drummer Paul Humphrey, 6-Time Grammy Award Bassist Kevin Brandon, Violinist and Concert Master Mark Cargill ("American Idol"), along with "Somewhere In My Lifetime" plus Christmas "Favorite Things", that are currently heard on internet radio and in Netherlands and Japan. Lisa Gay’s sultry vocal sound captures audiences with a unique style like no other reminiscent of "Young Ella" Fitzgerald, Phyllis Hyman and "Divine One" Sarah Vaughan, that blends Jazz, Classic Soul, Pop and show tunes with her sparkling personality. Lisa has performed, recorded and toured as a background vocalist with Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr., Joe Cocker, South Africa's Letta Mbulu ("Roots" with Quincy Jones), Bassist Chuck Rainey and the late great Pianist Richard Tee of "The Stuff Band" fame. Since arriving in Las Vegas, Lisa has appeared at Frediani’s Italian Restaurant in Henderson, with Gus Mancuso at "Bootleggers Italian Bistro", with Ronnie Rose at DaddyMac’s Spotlight, with Vince Falcone, jammed at the UNLV Student Hotspot, "The Freakin’ Frog","Rhumbar" at The Mirage Hotel in the "Tuesday Jazz Summer NIghts" and weekly appearances in Kelly Clinton's Monday Celebrity Jam nights, along with "The Sterling Club at Turnberry". Clint Holmes, Della Reese, Kelly Clinton, Sonny Charles (Checkmates/Steve Miller Band), Mark O’ Toole, Perry Dano, and Bobby Brooks Hamilton, all huge supporters, have described Lisa Gay in their own words simply as "Great!" Lisa also performs for Private, Corporate Parties and Weddings that showcase music from all genres utilizing the musicianship from 5-pieces to orchestra and guest vocalists with self contained Sound Systems to suit any occasion or venue upon request. The only thing left to say about Lisa Gay is to sit back, relax, let yourself go and enjoy the fresh, exciting New Classic Soul n’Jazz sounds that are a true performance of, "Music In a Class of Its Own!"
